Return to Stone Spheres
This magnesite sphere is just amazing. It has a wonderful color but most amazing is the uniformity of this material. Magnesite, also known as citron chrysoprase, is a nodular material with matrix in-between the nodules. Dale made this sphere from a very large nodule, pure magnesite with no matrix. Usually manmade materials are so uniform but this is the real thing!
Dale did a great job with this sphere. It is large, flawless and it has an excellent polish.
The sphere is great for a sphere collection and outstanding for decor.
