Return to Stone Spheres
This graphic feldspar sphere has amazing patterns resulting from the intergrowth of quartz (smoky) and feldspar (cream). Feldspar is one of the most common minerals on earth. It is a rock forming mineral and a well known rock that consists of high amounts of feldspar is granite.
We collected the rock in Eastern San Diego co. and Dale made the sphere. There are a few minor and unavoidable surface imperfections but the sphere has a great polish overall.
The sphere is great for a sphere collection and/or decor.
