Here is an exquisite sphere; it is rare and exotic purple and silky stichtite with olive green serpentine.
Stichtite is indeed very rare and occurs at only two or three locations with most of it in Tasmania.
Dale, made this sphere and he did an outstanding job. The sphere is smooth and it has a great polish. Two small sections (black mineral) fluoresce light green under SW UV.
This stichtite sphere has about 2.68″ diameter (68 mm). It has beautiful pinkish-purple stichtite and olive green serpentine.
