Here is an exquisite sphere; it is rare and exotic purple and silky stichtite with olive green serpentine.
Stichtite is indeed very rare and occurs at only two or three locations with most of it in Tasmania. This one comes from So. Africa
Dale, made this sphere and he did an outstanding job. The sphere is smooth and it has a great polish.

This stichtite sphere has about 1.9″ diameter (49 mm). It has beautiful dark pinkish-purple stichtite mostly mixed with olive green serpentine.
