Ocean Jasper comes in great variety of colors and orb sizes and patterns. It used to be mined in Madagascar at an ocean site (during low tide) but this material is all gone now.
This sphere is very large and very attractive. It is crystalline with two large vugs full of sparkly crystals. There are orbs of various sizes with some floating in transparent quartz. The polish is excellent. There are insignificant fractures and minor surface imperfections, very common in ocean jasper. See more pictures of this sphere below.
The approximate weight of the sphere is 6.6 lbs and it has about 5.3″ diameter (134.8 mm).
