This sugilite sphere is a very unusual and very attractive. It has purple dots of sugilite in gray matrix. The sphere will make a great addition to a sphere collection or a very unique gift.
The sphere was made in So. Africa and its workmanship is excellent. The sugilite dots shine very nicely but the matrix is rather dull and, in some sections, slightly rough.
The approximate weight of this sphere is 3.1 oz, and it measures about 1.6″ in diameter or 40.7 mm.
