Here’s an awesome quartz sphere. It has many very clear sections and some semi-clear with internal fractures and phantoms and it is absolutely fantastic. It is great for a collection, gazing or for decor especially on a light box.
Quartz spheres are not photogenic because of all the reflections and the images behind the ball that can be seen through the clear sections. There are no impurities or other inclusions but just internal fractures (very normal for quartz) .
The sphere was made in Brazil. Its workmanship is excellent.
Its approximate weight is 9.3 oz, and it has about 2.26″ diameter or about 57.4 mm.
