Here’s a small but very attractive quartz sphere with black tourmaline crystal inclusions.
The quartz is transparent to translucent. The tourmaline crystals are slender and are throughout the ball
Dale made the sphere from a small stone that the dealer insisted it was aquamarine. It does have a faint bluish color but, since not sure, I say it is quartz. Dale did a great job (not easy to make small spheres).

The sphere has about 0.89″ diameter (22.7 mm) and it weighs about 16g.
