This is a gorgeous ruby fuchsite kyanite shiva lingam. It is not a sphere not an egg, it is shiva lingam, a symbol of the Hindu religion. It is also a gorgeous decorative stone.
The rubies are gemmy and have a wonderful purplish/red color. The host stone is fuchsite (green) with kyanite (blue).
