Return to Stone Spheres
This pyrite in calcite sphere is very attractive. It has large pyrite crystals embedded in white calcite.
Dale made the sphere and his workmanship is great. However dissimilar hardness of these materials create voids and undercutting during the sphere making process.
The sphere is very attractive and the calcite is fluorescent (pinkish red) under SW UV.
