Return to Stone Spheres
Dale made this angelite sphere from an angelite nodule from Peru. The mineral is anhydrous calcium sulfate, or gypsum without the water (the chemical formula for gypsum is CaSO4-2H2O).
The sphere is of excellent workmanship, flawless, and shines really nicely. The white spot is one of the photos is natural. Angelite occurs in a white matrix.
