Return to Sphere Stands
Here’s a manzanita root sphere stand, mostly, in its natural shape (looks like a wave) and color.
Dale made the stand from a piece of manzanita root from Mexico. He cleaned the root and flattened the top and the base. He drilled a cup to hold a sphere and he sprayed the whole stand with polyurethane.
The stand is good for one up to 2.5″ diameter sphere. Stands will become unstable with larger and heavier sphere.
