Return to Sphere Stands
Here’s a manzanita root sphere stand, mostly, in its natural shape (very convoluted) and color.
Dale made the stand from a piece of manzanita root from Mexico. He cleaned the root and flattened the base. He finally sprayed the whole stand with polyurethane.
The stand is good for one 3″ diameter sphere that will fit inside the natural bend (where my two fingers are) .

Based on its largest dimensions, it is about 6.75″X4.74″ and it is 1.75″ tall. The stand weighs about 7 oz.
