Sapphire is the Birthstone for September
Here’s is a brilliant sapphire sphere.
It is gemmy and has two stars, one on each of the “poles”. The stars are best visible in bright sunlight. They appear like bright spots but they have rays visible when slightly rocking the sphere.
The sphere is generally dark but when viewed in sunlight it comes alive. There are also small specks of hematite.
Origin: This sapphire sphere comes from India and has a very good polish.
