Return to Gemstone Spheres
Here’s a rare sphere. It is a Burmese Jade sphere. The color overall is greenish white with one small section with (what I think) the most desirable apple green color. The photos show the stone very light color almost white but it has a green tinge overall with some darker and a little yellowish/greenish colors as well.
The sphere is rare and a great collector’s item. Although not the very best quality, it is still a valuable jadeite, although it does not appear as such.
Its approximate weight is 1077.5 ct (215.5 g), and it measures about 1.95″ in diameter (49.6 mm).
