Here’s a lovely blue topaz sphere that Dale made from a rough stone from Brazil. It is blue, but very light blue. The pictures were taken in bright sunlight and the bluish color does not show. Its pale blue color shows indoors against a white background.
The sphere is very gemmy and has a great polish. It has large transparent sections and it is slightly fluorescent (weak yellowish greenish).
Its approximate weight is 234 ct (46.8g), and it measures about 1.14″ in diameter (29 mm).
Origin: The rough stone comes from Brazil.
