This Apatite sphere is very gemmy, chatoyant and has wonderful olive green and light pinkish colors.
The sphere comes with an extra bonus: it has a couple of orange calcite crystals. The large calcite crystal in the photo on the left is 18.8 mm long.
The sphere is slightly fluorescent with a light pinkish glow. The orange calcite crystals glow red under the UV light.

Origin: The material comes from the Yates Mine Otter Lake, Quebec, Canada. Dale made the sphere and he did an excellent jog. There are unavoidable surface imperfections usually present in crystals (crystals like to pop out).
The sphere has a 1.5″ diameter (38.5 mm) and it weighs about 3.4 oz.
