This fossil clam shell sphere (also known as script) comes from India. The quality of the material and polish are both excellent. It has beautiful coloration and amazing patterns resembling hieroglyphics, thus the name “script”.
This material consists of a conglomerate of fossil clams and sand cemented together and petrified over millions of years.
This fossil sphere has a 2.27″ (57.9 mm) diameter and weighs about 9.5 oz.
