Return to Fossil Spheres
This dinosaur bone sphere is very nicely agatized, and it has a great cell structure. The cells are small to medium and of various colors.
Dale made the sphere and his workmanship is outstanding. There are healed fractures (common in fossils) and some porosity in a few sections.
The sphere has a 2″ diameter (51 mm) and it weighs about 6.3 oz.
