This is an exquisite agate sphere. The agate comes from the Yellowstone River in Montana, USA.
Dale made the sphere and his workmanship is outstanding. The sphere shines like glass.
This Montana agate sphere is translucent to transparent allowing to see wonderful manganese oxide (black) inclusions, clouds, chevrons, and phantom, shadows. The keyhole shape on the photo is a very small vug.
The sphere has about 1.96″ diameter (49.9 mm) and it weighs about 6 oz.
