This petrified wood sphere is indeed a very attractive. The wood is nicely agatized and it actually looks like wood!
Dale made the sphere and his workmanship is outstanding. Although unusual for a fossil, the sphere is flawless and has a wonderful polish.
This fossil wood sphere has a 2.95″ diameter (75.1 mm) and it weighs about 1.25 lb.
