Here’s a fantastic and brilliant smoky rutilated quartz sphere expertly made by Dale.
It has a very light smoky color and lots of mostly thick copper color rutile going in all directions.
The cross sections of the thick rutile sprays look black depending on the viewing angle (visible in the photos as black dots).
The sphere has 2.57″ diameter and it weighs about 393g.

- There is one large “bird’s nest” of rutile, which is the main root of the rutile sprays. There are phantoms, veils, bubbles, and some lodolite. There are minor unavoidable surface imperfections.
